OnePlus Pad 2 May Use Huge Battery: A Leak Suggest
The tipster revealed that Oppo and Vivo are working on a foldable phone with a 6,000 mAh battery. It is expected to be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 in global markets. The next OnePlus Foldable could see a major battery upgrade, which we can see later this year or early next year.
It is speculated that the OnePlus foldable phone will launch in 2025. Some specifications have also been revealed, but the brand has not been confirmed. However, these Oppo and Vivo Foldable phones can be launched in the first quarter of 2025, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor will be used. Earlier, a leak claimed that the Oppo Find N5 may use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Processor in this device.
It is believed that the new Oppo Foldable Find N5 will be released in China, while outside, it may come as the OnePlus Open 2. The battery will be upgraded significantly compared to the previous model, and this upgrade can be particularly useful as it is capable of delivering a much longer backup time on less charge. For this bigger battery, the brand can use Glacier Battery Technology.
On the other hand, Honor and many other brands are able to give a new look to their flagship models by using silicon-based batteries for more capability. OnePlus Ace 3 Pro was the first smartphone in China to use this technology, which used a 6100 mAh battery.
According to the leak, Huawei is working on a tri-fold foldable with a dual-hinge design. This device will use the Kirin 9 series chipset, which also has “various new technology.”
