Qualcomm Confirmed To Launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 In Snapdragon 2024 Summit

Qualcomm has revealed the event dates for the upcoming Snapdragon chipset, which will launch the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This Snapdragon Summit 2024 will be held from October 21 to October 23 in Maui, Hawaii.

According to the CMO, this upcoming high-end chipset will come with Qualcomm Orien, which supports a supercharged CPU and also includes a new NPU for better processing. The chipset’s peak clock speed can be 4GHz, which provides better quality downloading and networking speeds.

At the same time, the Geekbench database shows that the chipset scored 3,000 points in single-core and 10,000 points in multi-core tests. Qualcomm will also use TSMC’s first-generation 3nm node for the upcoming SoC, which also uses an improved Octa-core architecture.

This octa-core architecture includes two prime cores and six high-performance cores. The chipset will be paired with the Adreno 830 GPU, which was ten times better than Apple’s M2 chipset in the 3DMark WildLife extreme street test. This chipset is also designed for better gaming quality and high storage capacity.

This chipset will also support camera lenses up to 200MP and an excellent cooling system. As soon as this chipset is confirmed, handsets related to it have also started coming into discussion, and it is clearly expected that this chipset can also be seen in the Xiaomi 15 series, OnePlus 13, iQOO 13 series, and Samsung Galaxy S25 series. With this chipset, all these upcoming devices can deliver impressive and better performance.
