Google releases new Google Play System update that carries new features and optimizations 

Every month, Google releases Google Play System updates that significantly drive Android devices to have a more secure and reliable experience while offering new and valuable features to make the most out of it. Meanwhile, Google is here with yet another Play System update that indeed drops several new features and improvements for its Play Services and Device Health Services out of the box. 

While Google’s Play System updates are all about updating the Android operating system, Google Play Store, and Play Services, this time, the company has some new features and other relevant optimizations for the Google Play Services and the Device Health Services.

It includes some new developer features for Google and third-party applications to support Maps and Account Management-related processes in their apps. A new security feature has been added, allowing users to set the lost or stolen device to auto-lock while also adding the ability to use the USB and Wi-Fi simultaneously for backup and restore while setting up the device.  

The new update further introduces some relevant optimizations for the adaptive battery functionalities within the Device Health Service, which comes with a v1.27.0.638152889 build version that significantly helps to offer a more optimized experience. The entire changelog is listed below:
