Xiaomi officially launched its foldable phones in China on July 19, including two models – Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip. After the China launch, we have got a lot of information about these devices.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 Specification
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 comes with a 6.56-inch external display and a 7.98-inch internal display. Both displays included 3,000 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The device is claimed to be super slim and is 9.47 mm thick, while when unfolded, it will be just 4.59 mm thick. It weighs only 226 grams.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is durable, with a rating of up to 500,000 folds. It is also certified IPX8 for water and dust resistance. The handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12/16 GB RAM and 256/512/1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
Under the hood, the handset packs a 5,100 mAh battery that can be charged with 67W wired and supports 50W wireless charging. The smartphone comes with a 12 MP camera on the front, and the rear camera includes a Leica-branded quad camera setup. It houses a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP 3.2x Zoom lens, and a 50 MP 5x periscope zoom lens.
The Mix Fold is available in four color options: Black, White, Blue, and special composite fiber variants. Its price in China is CNY 8,999 for the 12GB/256 GB variants and CNY 9,999 for the 16GB/512GB variants, while the 16GB/1TB options cost CNY 10,999.
Xiaomi Mix Flip
The smartphone has a 4.01-inch cover display and a 6.86-inch inner display. It weighs 192 grams and is only 15.99 mm thick when closed. The Mix Flip uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12/16 GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Under the hood, the handset packs a 4780 mAh battery that can support up to 67W wired charging via USB-C. The smartphone’s camera features a 50 MP main sensor, 50 MP 2x telephoto, and 32 MP selfie camera supported by Leica.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is available in four color options: Black, White, Blue, and special composite fiber variants. Its price in China is CNY 5,999 for the 12GB/256 GB variants and CNY 6,499 for the 12 GB/512 GB variants, while the 16GB/1TB options cost CNY 7,299.
