Google Gemini Calling Feature May Come With Pixel 9 Series

After the unveiling of the Google Pixel 9 series, the curiosity of the users is also increasing for Android 15, which may have many imaginative AI features, but the rolling out of upcoming software may be delayed a little more. Meanwhile, the company has increased curiosity about another feature, which will welcome a new icon, Gemini style, in call filtering. 

Google has also released some devices with Gemini renewed call filters. These devices can also be Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which will be unveiled on August 13, 2024. These devices will also get many new features apart from Android 15, like the weather app. 

Google Gemini Calling Feature

According to AssembleDebug, Google will now allow filtering calls before answering on your smartphone via Gemini, which will help you avoid and block unwanted calls, such as spam or calls from unknown numbers, using Google Assistant.

To use it, you need to open the app, select the three dots in the upper right, then click on “settings > call filter > Filter calls automatically” to choose the security level from basic, Medium, or Maximum. After this, the feature will be activated. 

Integrated Gemini with a call filter in Android can greatly help users and prevent fraud. This feature has been replaced with an icon from Google Assistant that distinguishes the feature that takes advantage of Gemini’s artificial intelligence.

Along with this, a screen has also been added to provide quick response from the notification curtain. This change will be introduced on other Google Pixel smartphones in the coming weeks.
