OnePlus released an update for the OnePlus Pad 2, which includes security patches, improvements, and system changes. This update is available only for Indian versions, which are capable of providing higher security of the device and better privacy as well. OnePlus Pad 2 System Improvement Update fixes the problems of the transition animation effect when opening or closing the quick setting panel, and an issue was also fixed due to which the screen could appear red or blurred in Eye Comfort Mode. There was a display problem in adding a new device in Settings, connection, and sharing; multi-screen connectivity was also fixed in the OnePlus Pad 2.
Additionally, several other issues were fixed, including being unable to unlock apps that are locked with 4-16-digit passwords or alphanumeric passwords, being unable to use Face Unlock, and users getting a security lockout prompt if their device is locked for less than 24 hours.
Another issue where users were unable to swipe between photos is also getting a fix. Also, the app upgrades sound effects for the audio and video playback experience for better audio quality. It also adds an AI Studio app that provides users with engaging image-creation services. It also improves the touch control experience for the accessory keyboard touchpad.
