Motorola Unveiled a New Rotatable Smartphone Through the MWC Event
Motorola had showcased its rollable concept device some time back and now the brand has been working on it for the last few months. This new device will come with more development and a new rotatable technology has been seen in it. Motorola has embedded a fingerprint sensor in the screen itself in this new patent device, which is inspired by the old riser concept.
The brand is working on incorporating multiple fingerprint sensors in the display of this new rollable smartphone so that users will be able to unlock the device by touching any part of the screen. Motorola has also applied for a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for this rollable display and full-screen fingerprint sensing.
This device is listed in the US patent published on November 5 with the patent number “12135587B1.” It may be difficult for the brand to manage full-screen fingerprint sensing. Apart from this amazing fingerprint sensor, this device can also have a flexible display.
Apart from this, it was also expected to have a 3000 mAh battery. It will have a 5-inch display, which can be expanded up to 6.5 inches at the press of a button. This display is not used when rolled up but it will definitely work as an outer screen at the bottom. Its screen will slide backwards on the back panel on pressing the button.
