Samsung’s next major flagship is from the Galaxy S lineup, the Galaxy S25 series. It is expected that the company may introduce the next flagship series in January. To bring it on the timeline, the company has internally started testing on the Geekbench. With the new documentation, we got to know that the Galaxy S25 base variant could be available with a 12GB variant.

Samsung to bring back the 12GB variant with the Galaxy S25 base variant

Earlier, there were reports circulating about the Galaxy S25 Ultra storage expansion. It was expected to be available with 16 GB, which is also a good new for the Ultra fans, but now Samsung will also bring the 12 GB variant for the base variants.

Is the 12GB variant going to provide performance enhancements?

With the increased RAM capacity, users can get more tasks at the same time, but it is not directly related to the performance enhancement of the device. So the 12 GB variant is useful for those users who want smooth multitasking on their phone. But technically, the performance depends on the processors.

Which processor is arriving with the Galaxy S25?

According to the previous rumors, it was expected that the Galaxy S25 series could be available with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. But on the contrary, there is a possibility that Samsung may introduce the Exynos processor with the devices. So currently there is no certainty which processor will come, but according to the Geekbench survey, the Qualcomm chipset is giving good scores, so the possibility is high that Samsung will use the SoC for the entire series.
