OnePlus Open Officially Teased, Will Feature Alert Slider

Mark the Calendar: The OnePlus Open in India may take the floor on 19 October 2023, as per the tipsters. However, the brand ‘OnePlus’ officially did not confirm this yet. But yes! On the other side, the company released the forthcoming device’s teaser image, which indicates that the phone will feature an Alert Slider. 

OnePlus is close to announcing its first foldable gadget named “OnePlus Open.” There were rumours about OnePlus for a long time, but now the brand has officially started teasing the Open’s arrival. The fans are eagerly waiting for the company’s first foldable. 

However, a couple of days ago, the OnePlus Open, obviously which is yet to be released, spotted the hands of Indian film star Anushka Sharma. By this, it seems like the company will soon kick out the device. Previously, it was reported that in mid-October, the OnePlus Open will take the floor in India, and at the moment, it appears true. 

To increase the enthusiasm among the fan community, the company shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, via the @OnePlus_IN user handle, in which it released the teaser image of the OnePlus Open, where the image confirms the presence of the Alert Slider.

Noticeably, it has already been confirmed that the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 are the same device. The forthcoming release will be in India and other tech markets, whereas the Find N3 is expected to be exclusive to China. The renders indicate that the phone will have to be tuned by Hasselblad, and both the main and cover displays will have a punch-hole camera. 

OnePlus One Expected Key Specifications 

It is expected that OenPlus Open will feature a 7.8 inch 2K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Whereas the cover display will be 6.3 inches in size with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The company will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The memory package will include 16 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. 

The main camera management will include a 48 MP primary sensor + 48 MP secondary camera + 64 MP tertiary lens. The forthcoming foldable could run on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 on the top or may be the newer Android 14 OS. The reports indicate that the phone will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery along with the support of 100W fast charging. 

OnePlus Open Expected Price In India 

According to a well-known tipster, the forthcoming OnePlus Open will be priced around Rs 1,10,000 to Rs 1,20,000 in the Indian market. This price would make it cheaper as compared to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
