OPPO has begun sending a new ColorOS firmware to their smartphones. The Oppo Reno 2F and Reno 2Z new brings the latest August 2021 security patch to the device with some bug fixation made on the settings and UI of the device. It fixes 2 critical vulnerabilities are included in this patch in addition to 29 high-risk vulnerabilities. It might also include general bug fixes, performance improvements, and device stability improvements. The update could roll out to other markets worldwide over the next few weeks.

This OTA software update is based on Android 11 and ColorOS 11.1. Let’s jump out and see what’s new in this software update for the Oppo Reno 2F and Reno 2Z smartphones. Both devices are running on Android 11 beta and they will soon get a stable update.
The latest update bears the firmware version CPH1989_11_F.15 and CPH1945_11_F.59 respectively and the update weighs around 1GB in size. The ColorOS 11.1 update adds the latest security patch to the device and fixes some bugs here and there.
