Android 12 rolls out 12L update for tablets and foldables to make it simpler and easier to use

Tablets and foldables are the most effective content and productivity gadgets. The huge, portable displays are easy on the eyes and are ideal for watching movies, answering emails, or video chatting.
Previously, on tablets, developers launched Kids Space and Entertainment Space for the whole family to consume content, as well as applications to keep connected, engaged, and productive. They also introduced the finest of Google to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G foldable smartphones.
Recently, Android’s VP of Engineering announced 12L, an update to Android 12 that includes improvements that will make tablets and foldables simpler and easier to operate.

New layout design
The larger the screen, the more room for essential information. Devs are optimizing the display for the home screen, lock screen, notification shade, device set-up panels, settings, and more with 12L, so it looks even better on tablet and foldable devices.
On 12L, the devs separated notifications and quick tiles into their own columns to offer you more room to see and swipe away your notifications.
When configuring a new device, a two-column layout will allow you to view more information. You’ll also be able to make adjustments to features in your Settings without having to go through each area. Assume you want to change your device’s wallpaper – choose “Wallpaper & style” from the navigation panel and make your selection on the side, all in one view.

New Taskbar
The devs have also introduced a taskbar to make it easier for multitaskers to launch and switch between programs on the go. You may also enter split-screen mode by dragging and dropping any application from the taskbar.
This allows you to perform two things at once. You may watch a YouTube video while reading the news, or look for lodging for a planned trip in Chrome while seeing its whereabouts on Google Maps.
