Realme unveiled the Realme 9 Pro series on the rise in the year 2022, The mid-range Number series has a total of two devices as usual Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G. Both these devices of the series were released on 17 February 2022 at the Unpacked event organized by Realme.
Adding to this, Realme released latest Realme GT Neo 5 in China with 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 240W SuperVOOC charging support, Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 and more.
Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G both the devices have received the Realme UI 4.0 stable update with the firmware version RMX3471.11.C.08 and RMX3392.11.C.05 in Dec 2022. Plus, the company also released the December 2022 update for both devices. Plus, both devices are still struggling with the January 2023 update.

In terms of software, Realme 9 Pro series devices were introduced with Android 12 with a layer of Realme UI 3.0. On the other hand, both the devices received the Android 13 Beta update in October. Last month, both smartphones also got the Android 13 Open beta update.
Android 13 Stable Update:
In October 2022, Realme in India released the flagship Android 13-based Realme UI 3.0 stable for its most premium flagship smartphone, the Realme GT2 Pro. Apart from these, Realme 9 Pro series users received the open beta update last month, as per Realme strategy, we know that the company is rolling out the stable Android 13 update to its devices soon after the open beta.
However, due to the launch of the Realme 10 Pro series, the company might have delayed the stable Android 13 update for the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphone. Now, the Realme 10 Pro series has officially launched in India. So, we can expect the Realme 9 Pro series smartphones to get Android 13 with Realme UI version 3.0 and then adjust to 4.0 later during 2023.
Back to the title, Both the devices are running on the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 operating system and will soon get the Android 13 update. Now let’s have a look at all the updates this device has got till now.
