Nothing OS 2.0 for Phone (1):

Today, Nothing officially confirmed by adding the Carl Pei old post and saying that we are cooking the Nothing OS 2.0 for Phone (1), which will roll out next week.

Apart from the launch timeline, Nothing’s announcement post on X doesn’t offer any details on what Nothing Phone 1 users can expect from the new software, but we already know that Nothing OS 2.0 is based on Android 13.

Nothing OS 2.0 features:

As everyone knows, Nothing OS 2.0 is currently only available on Phone 2 but will eventually be available on Nothing Phone 1 next week. The latest version of the proprietary Android skin adds a number of new cosmetic and functional changes to deliver a similarly pleasant experience on the Phone 1 as well.

Moreover, Nothing OS 2.0 comes with several new features and improvements, including monochrome icons, new home screen layout options, widgets and lock screen customization, app shortcuts and folders, a native app locker, cloned apps, locked apps, the ability to run multiple instances of the same app, and more exciting features.
