Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro Will Set The Stage On Fire With Wear OS On September 26
Xiaomi has made a countable place in the tech industry. It has launched multiple smartphone devices, out of which some are flagship ones, whereas the others are from the mid-range category. Jumping on its wearable devices, the brand also has a bunch of smartwatches that have launched in recent years, which include affordable budget choices for those with a Sapphire crystal front. Now, the Chinese tech giant is all set to launch the Wear OS-based Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro later this month.
But noticeably, Xiaomi hasn’t launched any of its smartwatches running on Google Wear OS as their software platform yet. But now it is confirmed that Xiaomi is all set to introduce its upcoming wearable smartwatch, named Watch 2 Pro, finally based on Wear OS.

The post on X formally Twitter shared by @Xiaomi, which is an official account of the brand, Xiaomi is revealing that the brand will announce its Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro run on Wear OS by Google on September 26, 2023. The brand will introduce the smartwatch during an event in Berlin, expected alongside the Xiaomi 13T series.
However, apart from this, Xiaomi has not revealed any watch specifications except it will be powered by Wear OS. Information based on previous reports revealed that the Wear OS on the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will be skinned by MIUI. If this comes true, the users will see a known look and some of the features that are present in other Xiaomi smartwatches. According to information, it is expected that the watch will also include the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Wear OS-based Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro Specification
Based on the expectations, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro may feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. The battery package could be 500mAh with the support of 72 hours of usage on a single charge and an optional LTE variant. The other reports revealed that the price for the base model of the smartwatch will be €269.99, whereas the LTE version will cost €329.99 in Europe.
