While testing, I came across its battery life, which is insane, especially at such a budget-friendly price point. In contrast, here’s my detailed review of Motorola’s latest Moto G24 Power: Is it the best budget-friendly device with an impressive battery life?

Moto G24 Power: Detailed Review

With that now, instead of its on-paper performance, let’s see whether the device has performed well practically or not.

Moto G24 Power: Design

In terms of the design, Motorola has just aced the game. Although the G24 Power consists of a polycarbonate material on its back panel, it seems like glass. The back panel has a nice shimmery finish, which doesn’t look bad at all. With its flat sides, it offers a good and comfortable in-hand feel. Weighing about 197 grams, it feels very light, and the brand claims that the smartphone offers an astonishing and shimmery water repellent and an elegant matte finish design. With such a streamlined camera housing, the phone features a dual camera setup with the camera lenses arranged in a square-shaped camera module.

Coming to the ports and buttons, the Moto G24 Power features a speaker grill, a USB type-C charging port, and a microphone at its bottom, while at the top, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the smartphone also comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound support for an enhanced listening experience. At the same time, on the left side, you can find the volume rockers and power on/off buttons, while there’s a hybrid SIM card slot on the right, which means you will be able to use two nano SIMs with a SD card.

Moto G24 Power: Display

The Moto G24 Power offers a decent display at such a lower price point while also consisting of an average-sized bezel all around its display, especially at the chin area. Overall, the phone consists of a flat 6.6-inch center punch-hole display with a fast refresh rate of about 90 Hz, which allows you to have decent multitasking and app switching. With 537 nits of peak brightness, you will be able to have a decent amount of content viewing while producing vivid colors. However, this display brightness is not at all made for outdoor use on a bright, sunny day.

Moto G24 Power: Performance

The Moto G24 Power has been powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor offering up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, providing additional RAM storage that significantly results in faster app opening and seamless multitasking.

In terms of performance, the smartphone offers decent performance and multitasking, even though I tried playing a few games in extreme low settings and was getting good gameplay during my COD Mobile gaming sessions. In other words, with the Helio G85 processor, you will be able to perform efficient workflows while also having some basic and light gaming sessions as well. Additionally, the Moto G24 Power has scored a nice Antutu score of over 2 lakh (272066).

Moto G24 Power: Battery and charging capacity

The real showstopper is its longer battery life. The Moto G24 Power boasts a massive 6000mAh battery, the largest in its low price segment, which is significantly impressive. With that, there’s an amazing, fast TurboPower 33W charging support that can easily charge your device in just minutes of charging, offering you hours of power.

I noticed that I was seamlessly able to listen to music and watch videos for hours while so much battery power was still left. So, with the powerful 6000mAh battery life and heavy usage, you will get almost an entire day of battery backup, while normal usage can easily get your next day covered as well.

Moto G24 Power: Camera performance

Housing a nice-looking square-shaped camera module, the Moto G24 Power is equipped with a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera. The camera lens has Quad Pixel Camera technology support that allows you to capture sharp, vibrant pictures with such a nice camera system, making you able to shoot videos and capture images like a professional. With a 16MP selfie snapper, you can easily take some worthy selfies that look very decent and good at the same time.

In terms of video recording capabilities, I was only able to capture videos using the front camera at FHD and 30 fps, respectively.

Network and connectivity

Being a budget-friendly 4G device, it supports all 11 essential 4G LTE bands, including LTE 1/2/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41, respectively. Talking about connectivity, the device comes with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 support, USB-C charging support, and FM radio.

Moto G24 Power: Price and availability

Sporting two stunning color options, Glacier Blue and Ink Blue, with a nice water repellent design, it comes in two memory storage variants. They are-

  • 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage: Rs. 8,999

You can easily get your hands on the Moto G24 Power on Motorola’s official website, several e-commerce sites, including Flipkart, and at all your nearest Moto stores. However, it’s noteworthy that the official sale of the Motorola Moto G24 Power will begin on February 7.

The best budget-friendly device with bigger battery life?

Although the brand has provided a cool hashtag for its latest Moto G24 Power, which says, “#DikheMastChaleZabardast,” With that, after testing out the device practically, I came to the final verdict that the smartphone comes with several interesting features, including a decent display, proficient camera capabilities, fair performance, longer battery life, and such an affordable price tag. In contrast, you could consider buying this device in case you are looking for a smartphone that comes in the budget category with reasonable features that can cater to your needs.
