Nubia Z60 Ultra Review: Premium Specs, Surprising Price

Nubia Z60 Ultra handsets are not particularly liked by users, but the company has broken this shackle. They have included such features in their phones that are not found in other companies’s phones, and people are liking them a lot, so let us know how the best features are.

The Amazing Display

The handset is packed with high-end specifications at an affordable price, including Nubia’s incredible MyOS operating system based on Android 14 and the Nubia Z60 Ultra, which features a wide screen. It features a 6.8-inch AMOLED with a 2480×1116 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, and 1500 nits peak brightness, which will be a boon for game lovers.

The screen is sharp, vibrant, and bright enough to use, and it also provides good quality for your entertainment. Its screen is quite bright in sunlight, while it promises to provide a soothing effect to your eyes in the dark.

The extraordinary cameras

The cameras in this phone have been made different from all the others till now. Looking at the back side, it shows that three cameras have been included in it, which are capable of taking different types of photos, like low-light, daylight, and portrait. Captures these modes quite well, but there is a slight lack of selfie photos. All the images on the back camera have the best quality, toning, and natural colors, whereas this is not the case with the selfie camera.

In the camera department, the main camera is a Sony IMX800 sensor (1/1.49 inch) with optical image stabilization at the top, and the periscope zoom camera with an aperture of f/1.6 and a focal length equivalent to 35 mm also includes an Omnivision OV64B sensor.

Other features:

With an IP68 rating, it will not be affected by dust, rain, or being submerged in water. It is made with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front for durability and protection, and the back also has tempered matte finish glass to enhance its beauty.

Due to the large screen, it will heat up quickly, but it also has an excellent cooling system, which will not cause any problems when playing games or watching movies. Its speakers deliver surprisingly clear, crisp sound in the mid and high ranges, but there is a slight lack of bass. It still needs more work on its bottom-firing speakers.

The benchmark ratings are:

If we talk about the benchmarking of this device, you can easily guess its performance. According to them, these are attractive phones with good performance, and their processor is quite fast, but after using them for a long time, they become very hot and difficult to use. Here are the benchmarking results:

  • Geekbench 6 Single Higher is better (2149).
  • Geekbench 6 Multi Higher is better. – 6742
  • 3DMark Extreme (High)  is better. – 5237
  • 3DMark Extreme(Low) Higher is better: 4205

The power booster, RAM, and storage

These marks indicate that it will be at the top of the list among other handset companies.

The RAM and storage of the device range from the 8/256 GB variant to 1 TB and 24 GB RAM. You can buy 12 GB and 256 GB or 16 GB and 512 GB of RAM storage. It comes with Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and runs on Android 14, which will be updated from 15 to 17. According to this chipset and operating system, it will handle any high-level task easily.

The inbox supplements the battery.

Whereas, in the box, it includes so many things, like an adapter, wire cable, inject pin, transparent cover, etc. The battery packs a 6,000 mAh battery with an 80W charger, and it is best to use it for two days on a single charge.

According to the battery, you will not worry about any charging complaints because of its long-lasting battery life, and you can enjoy your entertainment. An 80W charger can charge your phone faster, but we don’t know if it will receive wireless charging or not. When we fully charge our handset at night, it will only use 2% of it.

These features indicate that this handset has the best features and build quality; you can buy it at an affordable price without any hesitation.
