No More Software Support for These Samsung Galaxy Smartphones

Samsung Galaxy End of Software Support: After Google, only Samsung has matched Samsung in offering the long-term software updates to its recently launched Galaxy S24 series, which are considered the best improvement within its Android update policy. With that, the brand is also saying farewell to numerous older Galaxy smartphones by discontinuing software updates. 

Samsung has always been so consistent about its software updates, and it has a wide range of Galaxy phones to cover. Conversely, regardless of the brand, every phone will end up getting the software updates forever. Every brand follows their respective software update policy and provides software upgrades with a significant deadline as per the device’s capability. Once the deadline is reached, the company discontinues providing further new software updates to these Galaxy devices. 

In the meantime, Samsung has fixed 3 OS updates and 4 years of security patch updates for numerous Galaxy devices, while the policy has been significantly changed from the Galaxy S21 and later, as it took over the software update commitment in order to offer 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patch updates.
