No More Major Updates For These Galaxy Devices

Samsung has officially removed a few Galaxy devices earlier from getting further software updates in the future. Now it’s time for other phones to follow the same. Moreover, the next iteration of the Android operating system, the Android 15, is on its way, as Google has already released two developer preview builds for its Pixel phones. In contrast, it’s quite natural that not all Galaxy devices will have the courtesy to receive Android 15, which certainly points out that Android 14 was their last major software update. Read on! Like other Android manufacturers, Samsung follows its significant software update policy and provides software update support according to the eligibility and capability of the device. Each phone has its fixed software support deadline, and once the deadline has been reached, the brand stops providing software updates to these devices. In a similar context, there are several Samsung Galaxy models whose last major software support was Android 14. This means that they will no longer get major software updates.

Meanwhile, the next major Android OS iteration, Android 15, will soon be available to all eligible Android phones. However, not all devices will get to witness the interesting features and other enhancements of the next major update. Android 14 was the last major update for these Galaxy models, including the Samsung Galaxy A, M, F models and Galaxy Tablets listed below.
