Samsung to bring minor changes for the 2025 foldables amid sales shrink

Samsung will provide a new lineup for the foldables as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. Over the years, the company has brought more innovation in the foldable smartphone to bring them into the main stream. However, due to lack of popularity, the company is taking a backstep and confirming to bring some minor changes this year.

According to the interview published in The Elec, Samsung plans to increase production of the Galaxy S25 series, and at the same time, the company will not focus on the foldable smartphones. This is happening due to the low squares of the last foldables, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

However, in comparison to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Fold 6 had done slightly better, but still, the company hasn’t achieved the desired satel, which can bring confidence to make the foldables more advanced.

In conclusion in the long interview, the Korean giant will not invest more time or R&D on the fold 7 and flip 7 and will focus on the Galaxy Z fold 8 and flip 8 in 2026.

Apart from this, no other details of the Galaxy Z 7 foldables exist, which indicates that the company will not do any extraornarly experiments with these devices. Instead, it will bring several variations of the devices, which will provide more changes for the devices
