Vivo X100 Ultra, X100s, and X100s Pro announced in China

Vivo has launched the Vivo X100 series in China, which includes three models: X100 Ultra, X100s, and X100s Pro. According to various speculations, leaks, and rumours, these devices use better periscope cameras, batteries, and chipsets. These devices use Android 14 out of the box. 


The Vivo X100 Ultra

The screen includes a 6.78-inch curved E7 AMOLED screen with a 3200 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby vision. For the opticals, the device houses triple Zeiss branded cameras. It includes a 50 MP main Sony LYT-900, a 50 MP wide-angle camera, and a 200 MP periscope camera. The camera easily captures 24, 24,28,35,50,85 mm focal lengths and portraits and macro shots with the details. 

Additionally, the camera island is circular and raised, but on the front, it comes with a 50 MP front-facing camera. The device gets IP69 or IP68 for water and dust resistance. For the processor, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB and 1TB of storage. The device runs on OriginOS, based on Android 14. The handset packs a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W wired and 30W wireless charging support.  

There is a 3D VC cooling system for heat dissipation so that game lovers can enjoy their games without interruption. In addition to the other connectivity options, the device includes two-way satellite communication. It features an X-axis linear motor, studio-grade microphone, stereo double speakers, and more. It comes in three colour options: Titanium, White, and Space Gray.

The Vivo X100s and X100s Pro

Both devices have a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 2800 x 1260 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, 93.43% screen ratio, 1.07 billion colours, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Dolby Vision. The X100s has a flat display, but the X100s Pro has a curved display. 

For the opticals, the X100s Pro houses triple cameras, and the setup includes a 50 MP main and 50 MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera as well as a 50 MP wide-angle camera, while the X100s houses a 50 MP main camera, 64MP telephoto camera, and 50 MP ultra-wide lens. Both models come with 32 MP selfie cameras. The camera easily captures 100x digital zoom and optical zoom, portraits, and macro shots with details. 

Additionally, both devices get the IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. For the processor, both devices are powered by a Dimensity 9300+ processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and Up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The new V3 chip is used in the X100s Pro, and X100s uses the V2 chipset. The X100s packs a 5,100 mAh battery, while the X100s Pro is equipped with a 5,400 mAh battery, which supports 100W wired charging. Both devices come in three colour options – Titanium, White and Black/Dark Gray.
