Meanwhile, Realme has performed some significant changes within its software update policy and promised to offer three major OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The same commitment goes with the newly launched Realme GT 6. Since the phone launched with Realme UI 5.0-based Android 14, out of the box, it will receive its 3 generations of major OS updates until Android 17. Conversely, the Realme GT 6 will get its security patches for 4 years until 2028.
