Google has always embraced the floating action buttons for some of its services, and they are significantly the most prominent component of Google’s Material You Design. Meanwhile, Google Chrome is poised to get a new and useful Floating Action Button.
Google’s Floating Action Button is a helpful functionality that lets users perform primary actions in an application on the go. This button is placed at the bottom right corner and allows users to perform a primary and single action in certain apps. Meanwhile, Chrome also joins this list.
As spotted by Android Authority, the latest Beta version of Google Chrome, 127.0.6533.23, includes a new Floating Action Button within the tab section. The new Action Button will be placed at the bottom right corner.
Google’s integration of the functional Floating Action Button to its ecosystem apps, like Maps, is continuing and has reached Chrome. However, the new Floating Action Button has yet to make its way to the stable version of the Chrome app and has been available in the beta version until now.
