iQOO Z9 Lite Launched: How many software updates will it get?

The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G has been launched in India today with the Dimensity 6300 chipset and Android 14 software, which will likely get updates for five years. The brand made this device with low budgets in mind. Indeed, at a low cost, the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will have an expensive display, competent processor, and long-lasting battery.  With its fabulous processor, the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G can make a mark in the market. 

iQOO Z9 Lite Software Update Policy

iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will receive updates for the next five years, including two years of Android OS and three years of security patches. The update is intended to enhance the performance and increase features. At the same time, security and privacy are guaranteed through security updates so that the device does not support any unknown issues. 

In the coming years, the iQOO will bring many improvements, features, and advanced upgrades to the system. This upgrade also avoids difficult and chaotic problems coming through the other networks, which consist of bugs, threads, and worms. All the unknown issues in the handset will be resolved through these upgrades. 

iQOO Z9 Lite specifications and price details

The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will have a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that offers HD+ resolutions and a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage, as well as 4GB/6GB with 128 GB of storage. For the cameras, the handset houses a dual camera setup at the backside, which includes 50 MP main sensors and 2 MP lenses, while it will have an 8MP lens on the front side. 

Under the hood, the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G packs a 5000 mAh battery that supports a 15W fast charger. It comes in two color options: Aqua Flow and Mocha Brown. The other specifications feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. It also supports the 3.5 mm headphone jack, an m, micro SD card, and IP64 for water and dust resistance. 

The device will be available for sale starting July 20 through Amazon and iQOO’s official websites. The company will give a Rs. 500 discount on selected credit or debit cards and EMI transactions until July 31. Here are the price details of the device – 

• 4GB/128GB RAM – 10,499 Rs. 
• 6GB/128GB RAM – 11,499 Rs.
