iQOO 13 Chipset, Battery and Perfomance Opticals Are Officially Confirmed

The iQOO 13 is expected to hit the market this year with its modern build quality and high-end specifications. It could also be a high-performance flagship for 2024. Many details about the iQOO 13 have surfaced in China in the last few weeks. Today, Jia Jingdong, Vice President and General Manager of the Vivo brand, confirmed several details about the device in a Weibo post. 

iQOO 13 Officially Confirmed Details

According to Jingdong, the upcoming device will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the chipset as this latest Snapdragon chip comes with great advancements in CPU, GPU, and NPU performance, which can give it a better processor. The iQOO 13 also includes an advanced tuning feature to enhance its best performance. 

The device may come with a sophisticated heat dissipation system with multi-layer graphene and a 7 K ultra-large VC heat spreader that can easily bear heavy loads. The device also includes a self-developed gaming chip Q2 that will provide this device with 2K texture super-resolution and native 144 FPS gaming support. 

The iQOO 13 will use the 2K Q10 Everest display, which was developed through China-based BOE. This new technology provides better brightness and colour accuracy while reducing power consumption. According to some reports, its display may have a 6.82-inch OLED panel, 2K resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate. 

It is also likely to have the world’s first OLED circular polarized light eye protection technology. Under the hood, the iQOO 13 will also pack a 6150 battery with 120W charging support. Despite this, it will come with a thin and light design and third-generation silicon negative electrode technology has been used for its battery. 

The device will rely on the latest OriginOS 5 for software with better AI capabilities and audio visual for gaming. The device will have dual speakers for better gaming and content experience and a large-sized 1016 H motor for haptics. iQOO 13 can also be released in India in the first week of December.
