According to Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will be available in the markets from next week, October 25 in south Korea. This new foldable smartphone is thinner and lighter than its previous model. Its camera system and display have also been improved. However, initially, this device will be available only in South Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition includes an 8-inch internal and 6.5-inch external screen. It has an aspect ratio of 21:9 in the outer display and 20:18 in the inner display. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is the thinnest and lightest as the device is 1.6 mm thick and weighs 236 grams. The main wide-angle shooter includes up to 200 MP, but there is no clarification about the rest of the lenses.
Samsung’s upcoming device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and will use 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. This new device also supports Galaxy AI and comes with Android 14, which is likely to get updates for about six years. The Android 15 update will be received in 2025. This device also comes with an aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victor 2 on the front and back.
This upcoming Special Edition will pack a 4400 Mah battery with 25W wired charging and 15W fast charging support. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is priced at KRW 2,789,600 (approximately Rs. 1,70,000) in South Korea. According to the company, it will be available in a single 16GB and 512 GB configuration and a Black Shadow colorway. This foldable handset will be sold from October 25 through the official website and other platforms.
