Nothing has launched new edition Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition, which uses a glow-in-the-dark design. However, the brand has made available only 1000 units worldwide. For this new design, the company has collected over 900 design and feature ideas from users in 47 countries, after which they brought the device in a Green and silver-gray look. 


Additionally, this community edition also uses a phosphorescent back panel. Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition comes with a glow-in-the-dark material featuring glowing in the dark. This new device comes preloaded with six custom wallpapers that reflect Nothing’s signature style. Apart from this, a 3D rendering design was also used on the device. 

The screen of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition includes a 6.7-inch FHD+ and OLED AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1084 pixels, a 30-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 2160 Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, a 10-bit color depth, 700 nits brightness, 1100 nits brightness, and 1300 nits brightness. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The software runs on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.6 overlay. The device’s dual camera system includes a 50 MP Samsung GN9 main camera with OIS and a 50 MP 114 Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, while the front camera also includes a 50 MP Samsung JN1. 

The device packs a 5000 mAh battery that supports 50W wired charging. It will use an in-display optical fingerprint scanner for security. It also includes USB Type-C audio and stereo speakers. The device measures 161.74 x 76.32 x 8.55 mm and weighs 190 grams. It is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance.
