Galaxy S25 appearance FCC listing reveals surprising downgrade
The Galaxy S25 series will be the next flagship device for Samsung. It is expected that the device could be available in the next year; however, currently there is no confirmation available of the date, but following the timeline, now as we near the launch, it is now getting notifications and spotted some features.
The device is spotted on the FCC website, which is responsible for certifying the device for the respected regions. With the latest listing, 91mobiles has spotted three models in the certification for the US launch.
Galaxy S25 on FCC: Details
According to the details shared, there are three model numbers spotted, including SM-931U, SM-936U, and SM-938U for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, respectively.
As usual, all their devices are packed with 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC—all the connectivity specs.
Apart from these, the listing also confirms that the device could be a downgrade of 9W wireless charging for the vanilla S25, which is a downgrade from 15W support.
However, the Plus version and Ultra version are testing the travel adapter EP-T2510. However, the listing doesn’t bring details about the battery capacity, so it seems like the phone could be available in the same battery sizes.
