Threads is Meta’s new microblogging platform, and a new feature can be seen in it soon. This new feature has been rolled out by the brand on Monday through X, which will allow users to choose their default feed. There is some time left for the rollout of this feature, but soon this feature can be seen globally.

Users will be given the option to choose two options in the feed. Apart from this, there is also an additional option to set a custom feed as default. This new feature is based on algorithm changes, and it will be visible to the users they follow.

In a post on Threads, Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that all users will now be able to choose between following and custom feeds. Apart from this, the option to view the default feed section will be made more visible on the Threads interface so that users do not face any problem.

This feature is a new and anticipated feature for all social media platforms that is based on the custom feed feature recently introduced globally. In threads, users can now search for a topic and also create a new feed. To use this feature, users have to go to the relevant page and select Add to Feed from the three-dot menu.

At present, users can easily choose Following and Custom Feed by pulling down the home screen. However, all these features are available for testing, which may also allow users to choose a feed as default. Apart from this, some other features can easily include a chronological feed, an option to view comments easily, etc.
