WhatsApp Plan To Launch A New Sidebar & Group Chat Filter For Web

Earlier, WhatsApp introduced a big UI makeover with the launch of the new Channel feature to Android users that allows you to follow posts and updates from social media creators, public figures, and organizations, spanning various topics and fields. Now, the company is planning to launch two new features for Web users, including new Sidebar and Group Chat filter features.
According to the information, WhatsApp is working on a new sidebar and group chat filter feature for the web client. The Group Chat Filter feature allows users to easily categorize their conversations as they will be able to sort their chats based on specific filters. While the new Sidebar delivers enhanced navigation.
According to the information, the same Earlier noticed feature was spotted on the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.19.7, allowing users a better tool to filter their chats based on their category, including All, Unread, Contacts, and Group.
With the upcoming features, users can quickly find certain conversations and filter their chats by showing only individual conversations and group chats, which will definitely provide a better chatting experience.
Apart from the group chat flitter, WhatsApp is also planning to introduce a newly revised sidebar, which is similar to the Sidebar available on the original WhatsApp for Windows app. Moreover, the new Sidebar provides users with better navigation capabilities. It provides a clear and organized way to go through different sections of WhatsApp Web, including Chats, Status, Channels, Communities, Collections, and Starred Messages.
As mentioned above, the new sidebar and group chat filter features are under development so that a future update will be released on WhatsApp Web.
