Needless to say this will increase the life the the smart watches to a great extent. Though there is no news about how often or when they will get these updates. [UPDATED ON 10/02/22]: Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be powered by Wear OS 3. The updated comes with the firmware version R8XXXXU1EVA8. The approx size of this update is 660 MB and this update is currently available in the South Korean and European markets. We are hoping Samsung will avail this update to other countries and regions pretty soon!

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic users would be able to set their body composition targets such as weight, body fat, and skeletal muscle, the smartwatches will offer daily reminders and tips on achieving those goals. Users will get new improvements like advanced interval training designed for any cyclist or runner, a new sleep coaching program and new body composition insights. Thizs body composition update will give users even more insight into their health progress.

Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic users will now have even more ways to customize their look with upgraded watch faces, and a new line of stylish straps. The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic users can also measure the percentage of VO2 Max in real-time. In addition to that, Galaxy Watch 4 users will receive a 30-day trial for full and unrestricted access to Centr. Galaxy Watch 4 has sleep tracking capabilities and the new sleep coaching program helps users develop better sleep habits. It will guide users to a coaching program that includes missions, checklists, sleep-related articles, meditation guidance and regular reports to improve their sleep quality.

With the advanced BioActive Sensor technology and Samsung Health Monitor app, the latest update for Galaxy Watch 4 will measure both blood pressure and electrocardiogram, allowing users to monitor their heart health anytime they want.
