Back in May, during Google I/O, we learned that Google is planning to launch Android Auto, which is a platform that lets you easily connect your smartphone to your car to provide a complete infotainment experience.
The Android Auto, codename Coolwalk rumors began nearly one year ago before the official launching of the I/O event. After a long time of internal testing, the company has finally announced to start of the Android Auto public beta testing for Android users.
Today, Google is finally rolling out a new update to Android Auto that only public beta testers will have access to for the redesign. However, the company doesn’t indicate when we can expect the stable rollout of Android Auto. But we can expect the company to release it in Q2 of 2023.
Now, the new UI for Android Auto is cleaner, more cohesive, and displays relevant information better and easier as well as split-screening is more effective. Here are the big changes Google is the new update:
According to the information, the new update enhanced the Do-Not-Disturb functionality. Additionally, this update optimized the Dark mode on the Car UI and is now completely independent from the phone UI.
