OnePlus 9RT Extends Battery Life With December 2022 Security Update

Last month, the OxygenOS 13 update with OxygenOS build version MT2111_11_F.11 was rolled out for the owners of the OnePlus 9RT smartphone, bringing several new features, customization options, and improvements over the previous version.

Now, the Chinese tech firm has started sending the December 2022 Android security update to OnePlus 9RT smartphone users in India. However, users in other regions will get it in the coming days or weeks. The latest software update protects your device against unwanted and annoying bugs and viruses.

Like other OTA updates, the update is being rolled out on an incremental basis, with users getting push messages to download it. The upgrade is rolling out to a select group of users today, with wider distribution expected in a few days.

Furthermore, the December 2022 update for the OnePlus 9RT comes with OxygenOS build number MT2111_11_F.13 and measurements of package size that reach up to 537.65 megabytes. This update not only comes with security improvements but also fixes other system-related issues like Battery, Display, Quick Settings, Gestures, Communication, Connection, and more.

Compared to the OxygenOS F.12 update, this latest update comes with some general improvements to deliver better performance. It also improves system stability and security by reducing system problems like freezing, crashing, lagging, and others. On the other hand, this update fixes some system-related issues to enhance the device’s performance.

This update fixes the display problem that might occur when the Quick Settings panel is pulled down and also extends battery life in some scenarios. Plus, it solves the issue where virtual buttons and navigation gestures might not respond to your taps.
