The Nothings Phone (1) won’t get an official US release when it launched in July 2022, but that’s set to change for the second version of the company’s popular transparent handset, according to CEO and co-founder Carl Pei. 

Speaking to Inverse, Pei said that the consumer-oriented company would make the US market its number one priority for the Nothing Phone (2), which is due for release later this year. According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Nothing Phone (2) is being tested under the model number “A065“. in the US and might be launched in the second half of 2023. 

According to a previous report, the next Nothing phone (2) will be “more advanced” than the first-generation model, with software being one of the “primary focuses” because the company focuses on a refined software experience and innovative hardware design rather than getting the best hardware at any cost.

The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to be better than the Phone (1) currently available in the market. Let’s look at the upcoming smartphone’s expected launch timeline and specifications.

Nothing Phone (2) Expected Specifications:

While the specifications of the Nothing Phone (2) are currently unknown, the upcoming smartphone can be expected to include a 120Hz AMOLED display, dual rear camera setup with 50MP primary sensor, 4500mAh battery, Android 13 OS out-of-the-box, and 5G network connectivity.

Furthermore, the upcoming device is likely to be powered by the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series SoC. As of now, it is unknown which processor will be powering the upcoming Nothing flagship.

Nothing Phone (2) Launch:
