Android 13 QPR3 beta 3.1 Released, Fixes Talkback, Notification Crashes And More.
Google announced Android 13 QPR3 beta 3.1, fixing many bugs and problems. In tandem with Android 14, the company is working on development for the Pixel June 2023 feature drop by running the Android 13 QPR3 beta program.
The Android maker has published the complete changelog of the QPR3 beta 3.1 release, which mentions improvements in the UI section, talkback feature, app crashing issues, camera issues, and battery drain. You can check out the detailed description of these improvements below for more information.
According to Google, Pixel smartphones launched after the Pixel 4a are eligible for the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 update. Since Android is the core of Non-Pixel devices’ custom skin, we’ll likely see mutual improvements building up to the UI software system in the future.
Last month, the US tech giant released Android 14 Beta 1 for supported Pixel phones. The new OS brings several new personalization tools flagged by Google as being hidden from users. This suggests the next Android 14 beta may unlock those hidden features on Pixel smartphones and non-Pixel devices.
Notable, the latest beta firmware also brings May 2023 security patch for Pixel devices. However, models dependent on Verizon carriers, such as the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a, may be released with version T3B3.230413.006.A1 with April 2023 security patch. Meanwhile, other Pixel device users may recognize the Android 13 QPR3 beta 3.1 update with T3B3.230413.006 alongside the May 2023 patch.
