After rolling out the July 2023 security update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy A53, Samsung surprised Galaxy Note 10, Note 10 Plus, and Note 10 Plus 5G users with the rollout of the July 2023 security update.

Samsung is rolling out the July 2023 security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series smartphone in Europe, and we expect it to expand to more countries and regions soon. All three variants of the Note 10 series are receiving the most up-to-date security patches to enhance system security and reliability.

Latest firmware:

The new patch for Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, and Galaxy Note 10+ 5G can be identified via One UI version number N970FXXS8HWF3, N975FXXS8HWF3, and N976BXXS8HWF3, respectively. At present, the firmware is rolling out in select European markets such as Switzerland, and we expect a wider availability soon.

As per the latest information, the update mainly brings the July 2023 security patch that fixes dozens of security flaws found in the previous version and ensures that users enjoy a secure experience while working on their useful features.

How To Update:

To update your Samsung device to the latest security patch, go to your Galaxy phone’s Settings, access the Software Update tab, and click to expand options. You will get a Download and Install toggle, which starts the process of fetching the latest Samsung software.

In mid-2019, Samsung launched the Note 10 series with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. These phones were only eligible for three years of Android OS upgrades, and their feature-rich firmware lifecycle ended with Android 12.
