Samsung has started expanding the July 2023 security update for the Galaxy S21 lineup. The Galaxy S21 Lineup July 2023 Update update is currently rolling out to carrier-locked Sprint’s networks with build version G99xUSQS8EWG1 and we expect this to expand to other carriers over the next few days.

On the other hand, Samsung started rolling out the July 2023 security update for the Galaxy S21 series last week. The company has expanded the update’s availability to the European market.
The July 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones comes with firmware versions G991BXXS9EWF3, G996BXXS9EWF3, and G998BXXS9EWF3, respectively, available across Europe. It brings the July 2023 security patch, which has improved the security of your device.
Notably, the update is currently available across Europe, and we expect its availability to expand to other regions in a few days. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 have started receiving the new update in Europe.
In addition, the company recently published the July 2023 patch description, which promises fixes for nearly 100 issues, including 3 critical and 49 high-level common vulnerability exposures.
