Few One UI 5.1.1 Features Lands On Galaxy A14 5G

Samsung has just started rolling out the One UI 5.1.1 enhancement update for the Galaxy A14 5G. This update comes with a number of new features and improvements to provide the latest September 2023 security as well as better stability of the affordable 5G smartphone. The update is currently being rolled out in the US in a carrier-locked version. Other carriers and regions may receive the new software update in the next few weeks.

The One UI 5.1.1 Enhancement update for the Galaxy A14 5G comes with firmware version A146USQU4BWH4. The update is available in Verizon Carrier Edition, and the latest updates are not available for factory-unlocked models in the US and global markets.

One UI 5.1.1 Features and Improvements:

Samsung launches Galaxy A14 5G with Android 13 upgrade to One UI 5.0 version. Now, the One UI 5.1 Enhancements update brings additional new features and further improvements so you can get the most out of your Galaxy System. Animations, multitasking, and visual effects are also being enhanced to provide you with a more natural experience.

Along with the One UI 5.1.1 features, the update comes with the latest September 20223 security patch that fixes over 5 dozen security flaws found in the previous software version, and it may also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

  • Added more date/time styles for watermarks.
  • Copy/paste effects.
  • Remaster picture: Added Focus view to highlight individuals.

Samsung Health:

  • When paired with Galaxy Watch, Samsung Health now provides upgraded sleep management, including Sleep Score Factors, Sleep Consistency and Sleep Animal Symbols. You can also access Sleep Coaching from your Galaxy Watch to track your progress and stay motivated throughout the day.

Quick Share:

  • Added Private Sharing to set time limits and prevent recipients from resharing files.
  • Added Share to contacts to quickly find your contacts and share files.

Device Care:

  • Enhanced memory management.
  • Added option to clear app cache.
  • Added Memory resident apps option for managing processes.

Mobile Hotspot:

  • Added dashboard for hotspot mobile data usage.
  • Added data limits and time limits for managing hotspot usage.
  • Added one-time password to provide temporary access to hotspot.

On the flip side, the Korean tech giant released the fifth One UI 6.0 beta for the Galaxy S23, and the Galaxy A53 has received its first version. With the beta update, Samsung is one step closer to the final release of Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy S23 series.
