WhatsApp after a long testing finally introduced an exclusive Multiple Accounts feature for using two WhatsApp accounts on one app at the same time. This feature offers the ability for the users so that they will be able to have two accounts on one phone within the application. For more information read out the full article.

This is being speculated through a post shared on Facebook by Mark Zuckerberg which states;

“Switch between two accounts on WhatsApp — Soon you’ll be able to have two WhatsApp accounts on one phone within the app.”

Through this above statement, it’s pretty clear that the testing process will be over, and soon the users will get the ability to sign in to two WhatsApp accounts on one smartphone even within the same app, and can easily switch between the accounts quickly.

The brand also mentioned in its blog that;

Today, we’re introducing the ability to have two WhatsApp accounts logged in at the same time.”

So the users get ready for this new switch account feature because WhatsApp seems close to rolling out this feature. This will be helpful as well as useful for the users who need two accounts; for personal and professional purposes. Once the company rolls out this update the users will be able to add a second account and then no longer need to log out each and every time for using the second parallel account. They are now free from the worry of carrying two phones just to log in to another WhatsApp account, and about messaging from the wrong place.

How To Set Up Second Account On WhatsApp

Once the Multiple Accounts feature gets available, the users can easily and quickly be able to add a second account by just following the steps mentioned here; to set up a second account the users must have a second phone number and SIM card, or a smartphone that accepts multi-SIM or eSIM. The users just have to open their WhatsApp settings, then tap on the arrow next to their name, and click ‘Add account.’ Also, the users can easily be able to control their privacy and notification settings on each account.

Noticeably, the users are recommended to use only the official WhatsApp and don’t go through imitations or fake versions as a way of getting more accounts on their smartphones. Also, their messages are only secure and private through end-to-end encryption when using the official WhatsApp.
