With this update, Nothing is adding Google Calendar integration to its “Glyph” interface. On the back side of Nothing Phone (2), the Glyph light serves a handful of purposes, for instance, visual representation of ringtones, showing charging status, and many more. And now, the brand is adding Google Calendar integration to the Glyph lighting of the Phone (2).
Now, the new upgraded Glyph Progress integration for Google Calendar helps users keep track of their upcoming events with a 5-minute countdown via the Glyph Interface. Now, the users will get new support for time presets from Glyph Timer, allowing them to quickly set their desired duration.
Now, users can open the Glyph Timer directly from the lock screen without unlocking it. With this update, the brand also adds an option for opening the Glyph Timer pop-up window by tapping instead of holding. Apart from this, it also works along with the Quick Settings widget. The users will also get new Glyph animation when NFC is used.
Apart from the Glyph Interface, the update has brought many other improvements, which include updating several status bar icons, improving the reliability of three-finger swipe gestures, and many more.
