Google Chat Is Rolling Out New Update 

Google Chat is rolling out the latest update to introduce a new smartphone experience. With this update, the brand is offering new features such as home and mentions for enhancing the user’s experience as per their convenience. 

Google is introducing a new button navigation bar within the Chat application on both Android and iOS devices, which will help users easily access these new features on mobile. 

The users are getting the ability to get easy access to multiple views such as Home, Direct messages, Spaces, and Mentions. 

The Home options will help the users stay on top of all conversions in one unified view, along with a filter that allows the users to drill down to unread messages.

The direct messages will ensure a compact list of the users, all their 1:1 and group messages, which includes pinned conversations at the top of the list. 

The Space view sees a compact list of all spaces of users, which includes pinned conversations at the top of the list.

Meanwhile, the Mentions view will help the users find messages from conversations and spaces where they have been mentioned. So, the users now will get more power and capabilities by all these new changes.
