WhatsApp is back with a new update to enhance the Android user’s experience by delivering a new feature named share status to Instagram.
WhatsApp is rolling out a new beta update, which is working on the ability to share status updates to Instagram directly from the WhatsApp application. Once the feature is available to all, then the users will have the ability to share their status updates on Instagram.
The update has arrived with its build number, which is v2.23.26.17. The update is in the beta stage, and the company is still working on it. Since the feature is in the beta stage, it is only available to some of the lucky beta testers. Interested users can easily get the update through the Google Play Beta Program.
WhatsApp is working on new features that will offer the ability to share status updates on Instagram in the future. Basically, in simple words, we can say the Instagram and Facebook sinking scheme Meta is bringing for WhatsApp also so that at the end, directly or indirectly, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook platforms will sink with each other.
The users will see this suggestion through a convenient shortcut immediately after uploading a new status. Noticeably, the users have the power to enable or disable this feature within the application’s settings. This feature is optional; the users can use this share status on Instagram at their convenience.
Also, sharing status updates to Instagram each time will require a manual selection of the shortcut to ensure that the users maintain full control over their sharing preferences. With this feature, users can easily extend the visibility of their content to a wider audience across different applications.
As mentioned above, for now, the feature is in the developing stage, but soon, the brand will widely roll out the stable update.
