WhatsApp Beta : Fixes Chat Attachment Sheet Bugs Issue
WhatsApp released a new update, version 2.24.16, through the Google Play Beta Program today. Most importantly, this revision deals with a significant problem concerning the chat attachment sheet. This bug was found in a recent WhatsApp beta version. When users tried to close the chat attachment sheet, they could no longer see it below or above it on screen due to this error.
This was the manifestation of a problem: part or all of the chat wallpaper appeared covered by an unusually dark blue block and could not be seen. Even efforts like turning off and on the device or closing the application failed to resolve things for users. This bug severely impaired the overall user experience, and a speedy fix was needed.
This release of WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.16 includes a bug-fix update that addresses the above-referred problem with the chat attachment sheet. Once users install this update from the Google Play Store, closing the chat attachment sheet will restore the original layout. This fix means that users will not likely encounter this visibility problem when they open and close the chat attachment sheet.
Users may have automatically picked up this bug with auto-update enabled on the Google Play Store; please forgive us for this pitfall. To get around this problem, we’ve just pushed out a bug-fix update (2. 24.1 .6) that remedies the widely noted chat attachment sheet bug and allows users free use of an unblemished version of WhatsApp.
