Samsung Launched Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 Edition Silently, Featuring a New Chipset
Samsung has always been very specific about its device’s launch, and now the brand has unveiled the latest edition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024, without any advertisement or launch event. The latest edition is considered to be powerfully packed with several amazing features that are similar to its predecessor, but there’s a few differences as well. Read on! Samsung just introduced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 edition silently with several innovative features and specifications, including a bigger 10.6-inch display panel with WUXGA pixel resolution, which is bound up with thick bezels. The display supports S-Pen as well. Simultaneously, the tablet comes with a similar design, as the brand has not made any changes to its design; with that, even the camera design is exactly similar to that of its predecessor.
With regards to its camera capabilities, the Tab S6 Lite comes with an 8MP main camera along with a 5MP selfie shooter for capturing self-portraits. Featuring three different color options, including Oxford Grey, Mint, and Chiffon Pink, respectively, the tablet comes in two specific variants, Wi-Fi and LTE, offering customers the customers the choice to choose the desired one as per their preferences. It’s worth noting that Samsung has not revealed the pricing and availability details yet.
The refreshed edition, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024, comes with a S-Pen, and most prominently, this newest edition is packed with a new and much more powerful chipset. Unfortunately, Samsung has not disclosed which chipset has been used within the refreshed tablet. Simultaneously, some sources unofficially leaked that the new chipset used in the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite could be Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1280, which is an Octa-core chip clocking speed at 2.4GHz.
The new chipset is bound up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for an additional storage space of up to 1TB. Out of the box, Samsung states that the Tab S6 Lite (2024) comes with the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1 firmware update.
On the flip side, other distinctive features of the new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite include a gigantic 7,040mAh battery life with up to 14 hours of video playback, while the brand has not listed the charging capacity of this refreshed tablet. With that, customers need to wait as the brand reveals more about the tablet in the coming future.
