Samsung Suggested Temporary Fix for Galaxy S23 Touchscreen Issue on One UI 6.1

Samsung’s One UI 6.1 just made its way to several flagship Galaxy phones and tablets, while the Galaxy S23 models have also received the same update. The new Galaxy One UI 6.1 has arrived with several impressive features and functionalities that will significantly enhance the user experience. Despite this, recent reports suggest that the S23 touchscreen is not responding to touch input as expected. With that, Samsung took over this issue and revealed that it’s Google’s mistake.

As per the reports shared by several Galaxy S23 owners, they were unable to register touch inputs on their phone as their phone’s touchscreen was not responding as per their expectations, making them touch the screen more than once. Meanwhile, Samsung has already acknowledged the issue and blamed Google for it. Samsung says that the S23 touchscreen issue is being caused by some compatibility issues with the Google app’s Discover feature, while Google is working on resolving this touchscreen issue.

Further, Samsung also added that, as Google is currently working to resolve the problem, the brand has brought up a temporary fix for the users who are adversely affected by the S23 touchscreen issue and suggested that the Galaxy S23 owners must update their Google app to its latest version, delete all the app’s data, and then simply restart the phone.

Here’s How to Update the Google App and Delete the App’s Data:

Moreover, in order to update the Google app and delete the app’s data, you need to just head to the Google Play Store on your S23 device >> here, search for Google app >> tap on the Update option. Now, go to the device’s Settings app >> select Applications >> choose Google Storage >> followed by the Delete data option.
