Google Play System update brings new feature to wallet

Google has released the new Google Play System update for the Google Play Services, which lands with the v24.25 version and adds new features to Google Wallet. As Google Wallet will be replaced by Fitbit Pay next month, the newer Play System update significantly adds support for American Express for the Google Wallet on Fitbit while also introducing other features.

The update further adds the ability to add an e-wallet as your payment method, or users can even use their linked e-wallet in Google Pay to complete payments. With this update, new features are added for the IDs that you add to the Wallet, and a new feature allows users to use Pix as their payment method in Google Wallet.
