Google is constantly working on improving the overall user experience across its services. Meanwhile, Google Weather has not received any major updates, excluding the redesign. Now, Google Weather will show the date in the next 10-day forecast.

This change appears to roll out with the Google app’s latest version 12.25. People will now be able to see the next 10-day forecast with day and date simultaneously.

Meanwhile, earlier, the Google Weather app significantly showed only the days, including Sunday, Monday, and more, in the next 10-day forecast. In contrast, this newest change does not seem to be so major. Still, it’s a little confusing, though.

Google Weather is currently relying on some first-party forecasting models, which could significantly improve its ability to become a dedicated application rather than a section within the Google app.

Moreover, Google is working on improving Weather while upgrading a Material You redesign. Google Pixel devices have already received a weather widget, and At a Glance weather icon were also updated. It’s expected that Google will bring more new features for all Android devices within Weather in the near future.
