The CMF Phone 1 was launched in India on July 8 and is now going through its first update, which brings bug fixes, camera improvements, and new features. Additionally, the device receives the Android July security patch update and will be based on Nothing OS.
The device also adds a new date widget for new features and mentions a new swipe-down function for incoming notifications that opens a pop-up view for quick access. This needs to be enabled via Settings > System > Pop-up view.

Camera improvements include improved zoom clarity in certain scenarios and enhanced night scene photography. It also optimizes HDR video recording and interface during Vivid mode. There are also improvements to portrait mode image effects, front camera colours and skin tones, colour accuracy, low brightness fixes and a fix for the filters not loading when taking motion photos on the rear camera.
Other general improvements include fixes to crash issues and launch issues. It also reduces scrolling lag when using X. A major improvement is the smoothness of fingerprint unlocking. The issue of fingerprint registration failing when using a screen protector has been resolved, and a stuttering issue during unlocking has also been fixed.

Follow this step to install the upgrades: Open settings<Tap on the About<Check for updates<Click on Update and Install. This update provides better features than before.
