The Oppo Reno 12 series, which consists of two models, Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, was launched in India on July 12. Sales will start in India on July 25 through Flipkart, whereas they were propelled in China on June 18. The series comes with a triple rear camera setup with Gen AI integration and advanced AI capabilities such as Eraser 2.0, AI LinkBoost, AI Outline, and more. 

The Oppo Reno 12 series employs the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage capacity, which can be extended up to 1TB through the microSD card.

The series will support the ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14. The brand promises to provide three years of Android OS and four security patch updates. These OS updates provide new highlights for communication, battery, camera, animations, and icons. It includes improvements to the sound and other camera features for the handsets. The usefulness of the series is to make strides through the battery so that the series can deliver a longer battery life.
