Protection from solids has the first digit of the IP rating, which describes the protection of the object from solids, with 6 providing the highest protection. Whereas protection from liquid has the second digit of the IP rating, in which 9K provides the highest protection.

However, this device received an IP68 rating, which provides complete dust resistance. Additionally, the brand tested it for up to 8 hours based on air flow. In terms of protection from liquids, this device can withstand immersion up to a depth of 1 meter or more. That is, the device is suitable for continuous immersion in water.
