Nothing has brought many new features and bug fixes with the September patch for Nothing Phone 2. Through this update, all variants of the device will get updated, and the device will be able to work better and smoother than before. This update is also capable of providing more security and privacy to the device.

Nothing Phone 2 September Update
In this update policy, incoming notifications have to be swiped to the pop-up view, and a new update has been released on the device through the pop-up view. Also, vibration can now be turned on for third-party apps during calls so that many types of notifications will also be received on the device.
Nothing Phone 2 September Update, battery and pedometer widgets can now be shown on the lock screen and always on the display. A new reporter widget has also been added, which will read daily news stories aloud to the user. However, this feature is still in beta, and the generative AI model is still awaited to Nothing Phone 2.
Nothing Phone 2 also gets a new refined ringtone volume for incoming calls, improved Bluetooth tile toggle speed in Quick Settings, and changes to make the Bluetooth tile display the correct earbud information. It also optimizes the wallpaper preview display.
Additionally, an issue that prevents calls from being made to specific networks and an issue affecting 112 calls to the police are fixed. An issue that caused some cloned apps to auto-rotate despite being disabled is fixed.
Also, an issue where the media player widget was unable to play music when switching from guest to main user has been fixed. It also optimizes the new Always On Display interface and ensures consistency of information within photo details on the camera roll.
Another issue with the zoom slider display while recording video on the camera and a system stability issue has been fixed. On the other hand, the Nothing Phone 2 September Update brings the September security patch along with several other improvements to fix bugs and threats.

How to Update
To get this new update in Nothing Phone 2, open Settings < tap on About < Check for Updates < Click on Update and Install. After installation, the device receives an upgrade to all formats.
